I am interested in achieving three goals: beautiful colors, pleasing compositions, and images that tell a story. I am drawn to the unusual, ordinary and forgotten people or places. My subjects are people I know or have met. I prefer watercolor because it brings to the table its own life force; I love how it moves on its own. It is this inherent mystery of watercolor that has kept me fascinated for over 40 years. I choose positive imagery with a hint of humor, surrealism and loneliness.
